Human rights are not for aliens! *throws back head to laugh*

There are two schools of thought leading the arguments on family separation at the border. On one side are those who agree with the administration of the American government such as G.S. who says on social media that, “they aren’t migrants, they are invaders” he believes that human rights do not apply to the individuals in detention for attempting to cross the U.S. / Mexico border. People like G. are supporting a United States retreat from the United Nations agreements on protecting human rights.
Our young people are so disconnected from one another that their parents must be a weakened generation drowning in the broken-heartedness of shame. The internet is flooded with 25 to 35-year-old children living at home with their parents. With (mostly high school dropouts or) some community college experience under their belts they form robust opinions on complex community and social issues. Such as human rights. All of a sudden, their leadership qualities acquired in the boy scouts kicks in and they are leading an internet drove of 350 similarly stunted individuals and a league of trolls develops. They spew doctrines and ideas that in themselves reveal a lack of basic education and understanding. Doctrines such as “taking parents away from children are just punishment for them breaking our laws and entering the country illegally.” This is a basic paraphrase combining the ideals of this school of thought.

People who are still yelling “Ma. Food!” from the basement are leading the general population in selfish ideologies that lead to inhumane treatment of others. From the comfort of their mother’s old living room couch that’s now his. It sits in the damp of his basement abode. The troll lounges on it in his underwear while he taps away on the laptop. It’s the one his father bought for him six years ago hoping he would get that 2-year degree (after 4 years in community college). “No one should have human rights!” he catches himself typing. *delete *delete *delete he continues. Realizing his blood sugar must be low he calls, “Ma! Orange Juice!”
On the other side, we have normal, sufficiently educated people. People busy adulting. They agree that human rights must be protected or we are all at the mercy of capital, (which knows no mercy). They work for capital, live in capital’s housing, and rely on capital to keep things running smooth enough that they can educate their own children. Most of them have at least one child with autism, or worse in their life to keep their mind occupied and off of human rights.

I hope you laughed, cried, or felt something. It is important we see each other for who we are. There are many people who do not fit into any of these categories. We must remember that we are connected. We are our ‘brothers and sisters’, keepers’. If we keep ignoring human rights violations and fighting over color and race and class then we are not going to make it. Humans will be extinct.
Perhaps capital will rule the world. Perhaps it will pay humans to develop A.I. and it can take on a life of its own vicariously through computers. Oh how the prayers of humans would shift to there being a real Nibiru to come on a fly-by to earth and short out the wifi.

Whatever we believe, we humans really need to step up our game. Cheers! To the boy scout drop outs leading the world on thought propagation through the internet! Who will be next to step up and lead?

What role did Autism play in human evolution

What Role Did Autism Play in Human Evolution?

By Penny Spikins

This article was originally published at The Conversation and has been republished under Creative Commons.

When you think of someone with autism, what do you think of? It might be someone with a special set of talents or unique skills—such as natural artistic ability or a remarkable memory. It could also be someone with enhanced abilities in engineering or mathematics, or an increased focus on detail.

This is because despite all the negative stories of an “epidemic of autism,” most of us recognize that people with autism spectrum conditions bring a whole range of valued skills and talents—both technical and social—to the workplace and beyond.

Research has also shown that a high number of people not diagnosed with autism have autistic traits. So although many of these people have not been officially diagnosed, they might be were they to go for autism-related tests. These people were unaware they have these traits, don’t complain of any unhappiness, and tend to feel that many of their particular traits are often an advantage.

The origins of autism

This is what we mean when we talk about the autism spectrum—we are all “a bit autistic,” and we all fit somewhere along a spectrum of traits.

And we know through genetic research that autism and autistic traits have been part of what makes us human for a long time.

Research has shown that some key autism genes are part of a shared ape heritage that predates the “split” that led us along a “human” path. This was when our ancient ape ancestors separated from other apes that are alive today. Other autism genes are more recent in evolutionary terms—though they are still more than 100,000 years old.

Research has also shown that autism for the most part is highly hereditary. Though a third of the cases of autism can be put down to the random appearance of “genetic mistakes” or spontaneously occurring mutations, high rates of autism are generally found in certain families. And for many of these families, this dash of autism can bring some advantages.

All of this suggests that autism is with us for a reason. And as our recent book and journal paper show, ancestors with autism played an important role in their social groups through human evolution because of their unique skills and talents.

Ancient genes

Going back thousands of years, people who displayed autistic traits would not only have been accepted by their societies but could have been highly respected.

Many people with autism have exceptional memory skills; heightened perception in realms of vision, taste, and smell; and in some contexts, an enhanced understanding of natural systems such as animal behavior. And the incorporation of some of these skills into a community would have played a vital role in the development of specialists. It is very likely these specialists would then have become vitally important for the survival of the group.

One anthropological study of reindeer herders said:

The extraordinary old grandfather had a detailed knowledge of the parentage, medical history, and moods of each one of the 2,600 animals in the herd.

He was more comfortable in the company of reindeer than of humans, and always pitched his tent some way from everyone else and cooked for himself. His son worked in the herd and had been joined for the summer by his own teenage sons, Zhenya and young Sergei.

Autistic traits in art

Further evidence can be found in traits shared between some cave art and talented autistic artists—such as those paintings found in the Chauvet Cave in southern France. This contains some of the best preserved figurative cave paintings in the world.

The paintings show exceptional realism, remarkable memory skills, and strong attention to detail, along with a focus on parts rather than wholes.

These autistic traits can also be found in talented artists who don’t have autism, but they are much more common in talented autistic artists.

Rewriting history

But unfortunately despite the potential evidence, archaeology and narratives about human origins have been slow to catch up. Diversity has never been a part of our reconstructions of human origins. It has taken researchers a long time to move beyond the image of a man evolving from an ape-like form that we so typically associate with evolution.

It is only relatively recently that women have been recognized as playing a key role in our evolutionary past—before this, evolution narratives tended to focus on the role of men. So it’s no wonder that including autism—something that is still seen as a “disorder” by some—is considered to be controversial.

And this is undoubtedly why arguments about the inclusion of autism and the way it must have influenced such art have been ridiculed.

But given what we know, it is clearly time for a reappraisal of what autism has brought to human origins. Michael Fitzgerald, the first professor of child and adolescent psychiatry in Ireland to specialize in autism spectrum disorder, boldly claimed in an interview in 2006 that:

All human evolution was driven by slightly autistic Asperger’s and autistic people. The human race would still be sitting around in caves chattering to each other if it were not for them.

And while I wouldn’t go that far, I have to agree that without that “dash of autism” in our human communities we probably wouldn’t be where we are today.

How to ride unicorns and tame dragons

Picture painting outside the box
like magic it musters
thoughts like a fox
cautiously creeping
exposing within
thoughts that are hopefully
akin. ~ a poem by me

Good Morning world. Hello to day. Welcome sunshine. Time to mount this unicorn. Let's tame some dragons and make this universe our bitch.

My favorite artists are able to express themselves artistically with many mediums. The great modern artist Christopher Zeiders, for example, known for his international career as a fashion photographer and having covered Couture week and so much more. He has been commissioned on numerous occasions for his modern fine art and graphic design as well. A closer look reveals artistic ability in sculptures, personal design, and even snowman building. True talent runs through. It may lay in the DNA.
Not everyone makes a living with their artistic ability. Not everyone has the fingers of Liberace or the wrists of Jimmy Hendrix but we can all make music or rhythm by using our voices or tapping our feet or even humming a tune in our head. Genes may make a difference. Effort makes more. Try it.
Paint a beautiful picture, sing along with a song. Share and mold your vision and tune and dance along to your song. Soon you will be riding a unicorn and taming dragons!
Have a great day!

chlorovirus HOW DO I KILL IT

View the full article here
Image blabkboard1965/Shutterstock
The US National Library of Medacine has published a page on chlorovirus. The page corroborates information being published out of Johns Hopkins University lead by Infectious disease specialist Robert Yolken, You may have seen this scarey image from blackcoard1965 floating in your social media stream. There is a lot of fear about the virus already, so lets cut it off at the start.
It can be daunting to think that this virus has a whopping protein count, and frightening to think it can be in our brains. It can even be overwhelming to try to understand it enough to begin to fight it. "how do I kill it" has been searched on Google more times than any other 'new scare tactic announcement' including "How do I avoid bola".
The fact is that 'out of the box thinkers' have been trying to share information on hyro-therapy and or body's pH balance for a few decades. The information is out there for YOU to make CHOICES for a healthier you.
We already have plenty of information on how to avoice refined sugars, processed foods and other kaka humans put in their mouths. Go read it and do it. Read and follow advise on adjusting your body's pH and keeping it hydrated and in good working order.
Honestly, we don't need any more general health scares. Let's begin to de-stress our population.
Good luck! Be good out there!

who was it that said "F*ck the Pope?" ... hohoho ringdings to the rescue

Irish actor Gabriel Byrne, who has been openly critical of the Catholic church in the past, is sounding off about Pope Francis. (Read the article here) http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/gabriel-byrne-pope-francis-39-39-figurehead-39-110041232--abc-news-celebrities.html when he says "Like Barack Obama, a bit like Tony Blair, he's a figurehead, a CEO, a man who does the bidding of the masters who hide behind him," Byrne said of the new pope in an hour-long conversation on the "Michael Des Barres Show." He isn't lying. The changing of the guard even implies it is an institution not unlike a corporation, and it usually signals drastic changes to come. The signs are there of that. Whether they are using trickery for treachery or honesty for honor, change is definitely in the air.
What ever the rules were for the previous game in the chapters of humanity they are being changed. Right under our noses and in response to what we collectively say we want. The change that needs to happen is not of 'education' but of humanization of the people of the world. We will collectively decide what the things are that we value for the most part, and we will create change more and more as we do this. We are all evolving and that includes how we form our business structures, worship structures, and recreational life. Whatever the new pope proves to be it can not be overlooked as to what he is. That being: a catalyst for change. Good Luck on your exciting journey Pope Francis.
Though all of my siblings chose Francis as their patron saints I chose Joan of Arc.
How telling is that? About as 'telling' as the times when the Pope lives a life of charity, modesty, and effort.

We can not protect that which we can not identify.

The Miriam Carey case should be drawing a lot more attention than it is. We are on a very slippery slope and by paying attention NOW, and looking to what has happened in the recent past we must decide together what fairness and justice are. When we as a people know what it is we can ensure it for one another. We can not protect that which we can not identify. The Carey case involves a young woman who was unarmed for whatever reason reacting in an unstable manner when approached by capitol police who then shot her to death in front of her infant daughter. The marksman were given commendations or something and the young woman's body was laid to rest. The Carey family and certain legal minds have come together to bring the Department of Justice into the picture to decide if the young dead woman's civil rights were violated and that factored into her death. It all sounds mumbo jumbo in legal terms and there is a whole 'Palestianian conflict' regarding whats right and who is wrong making it easy to turn a blind eye. Her sister, a former NYC Police Sgt, states: While being accused of "ramming" a White House gate, the 2010 black Infiniti car Miriam Carey drove did NOT have front end damage nor did the airbags deploy. The most my sister may have been guilty of was a traffic infraction which is NOT justification for killing her.
We do need to be careful as a community in over looking how this woman represents us as a whole. Put aside the convoluted conspiracy theories and fear of government Marshall law and look at the reality of the matter. The civil right in question is " ensuring of peoples' physical and mental integrity".
From what we have seen so far, teachers are forcing the medical community, and the legal community into our homes by allowing them the freedom of labeling our children and putting them on Ritalin and psychiatric drugs at earlier and earlier ages. (18.7% in Kentucky alone) Parents of dying children are forced to mortgage their homes, lives and futures of their other offspring for often times a few months of costly treatment done in vain or experimentally. Children's home-made lunches are taken from them and their diets disrupted with processed chicken nuggets and Ritz crackers. The point is, as history is showing us, our right to choose abortion is the ONLY right anyone is fighting FOR. It is ridiculous.
Can you imagine your timid wife being ordered to take Prozac because the cop didn't want to deal with her emotions over getting a ticket in the first place? How about rigid veteran Dad , and gets an anal probe from a cop on I-90 because he walked funny
We need to be watching this case, because if the Carey's win we could all loose rights. We could be forced to take medication (covered under the new Obama health care) because a cop said to. Under the health care plan each State will have employees who are paid to go to your house and make sure you are taking said medication.

If you have not read THE GIVER you need to go get it.

weirdo freak experimenting on autistic children

Is someone taking these autistic children and experimenting on them? Is there some weirdo freak experimenting on autistic children? 'saving' them or something? .. There was word in the metaphysical community back in 2008 that certain ones believed 'autistic' (defining in the idiot savant categories and not broad spectrum nor low functioning comparisons) were somehow 'evolved' or 'angelic' and gave some peek into the future of humanity.

“In The Autism Prophecies, William Stillman reveals more startling truths about evolution, the future of our planet, and what the rapidly growing community of (autistic) individuals is really here to teach us.”

Sandra Sedgbeer, editor in chief, Inspired Parenting and Children of the New Earth magazines

Since every single one of us is being monitored either on social media, cell phones, and all the video footage and satellite images I cant understand how these children are going missing.

ABC News is reporting Marlboro Police are searching for a missing autistic teenager.
"We waited an hour, two hours, then we started driving around, maybe he's just having coffee or something, and we couldn't find him and then became kind of desperate," said Walter Karwan, Michael's father. http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news%2Flocal%2Fnew_jersey&id=9333919 "I don't think he's able to process that this is not a big deal we just want him home. I'll sell the world to have him home," Walter Karwan said. Police ask that if you see him, don't let him out of your sight and call 911.
Walter Karwan had a message for his son, "Michael, I want you to come back, remember, you promised me that you would go to the movies with me on Friday. We love you and we can't wait to see you."

Is the boy missing from Queens going to be found with him?
