A marvelous night for a romance~! or a perfect treat for the kids! an any-time cool off !

There is a fruit punch for everybody, from tart to tasty sweet I dare you to find your favorite this summer!
After harvesting raspberry leaves for winter concoctions I got a hankering for the fruit punch featured in Woman's Day Magazine.
An extra dash of this or that would set my perfect afternoon into a coast and a harvest day is no day to be coasting around! The extra work (and loss) that goes into organic growing is enough 'price to pay'.
Search anywhere from E-How to the Bacardi page itself and you will find some easy and refreshing 'adult' mixes. Here is my recipe 'On the Cheap". Serve it over lots of ice, crushed if possible and don't forget the straw!

8 oz. frozen mixed berries package from your grocer's freezer
Pitcher of water
1 Grapefruit (Juiced)

Combine all ingredients in the pitcher. Stay away from adding white sugar if you can; The cold from the ice on your tongue should be satisfying without it . After 20 minutes or so you can strain the flavored, vitamin infused water over the ice and sip it with a straw. Try not to give yourself a brain freeze! Take the left-over pulp and some juice and add it to a blender with a 1/4tsp. of salt. Freeze in ice trays with toothpicks for next time, or pour into a bowl and set in the freezer. When the mixture in the bowl hardens use a sharp ice cream scoop to shave off your own Italian Ice treat!
